Ozzy Osbourne put his career first for a long time and held several concerts for his fans. However, his health started deteriorating in 2009, and he had to put his well-being before anything else.
Ozzy was in a near-fatal bike crash in 2009. He underwent multiple surgeries for a spinal injury he got from the accident. The injury worsened when he fell at his home in 2019. In 2020, the singer was diagnosed with Parkison’s Disease.Sharon Osbourne, Ozzy’s wife, spoke about the singer’s health in April 2023. Sharon said she had to step away from her duties on TV to take care of her husband when he contracted Covid-19 in 2022:
“It has been very difficult. Ozzy has been plagued medically by different things that have been wrong. It is like one thing leads to another then another. For some reason he is tested all the time. I think, No more, please God.”
Ozzy hasn’t caught his much-desired break, has his health seems to have deteriorated. On July 10, 2023, he announced that he had made a painful decision to opt out of the Power Trip Festival because his body was telling him he wasn’t ready yet to perform.
The Power Trip Festival is a rock music extravaganza hosted by Coachella founders Goldenvoice. It is scheduled for October 6 to October 8, 2023, and is set to feature iconic rock bands such as Metallica, Guns N’ Roses, AC/DC, Iron Maiden, and others.
Another fan noted that the singer “looks like a corpse.” People said that apart from his illness, Ozzy seemed to be aging fast.
Before opting out of the Power Trip Festival, Ozzy had announced that he was canceling his tour commitments in February 2023 to focus on getting better. In July, he said he had been hopeful he would return to the stage in the summer of 2024, but his health could no longer allow him to do so.
Ozzy thanked his fans, band, and crew for their support and unconditional loyalty. Since this announcement, the singer hasn’t been seen in public. However, he was recently spotted enjoying quality time with his family.

On August 13, 2023, Ozzy was spotted with his wife Sharon, their kids, Kelly Osbourne, 38, and Jack Osbourne, 37, and grandkids. The family, who were seen in the Westwood area of Los Angeles, were going to watch a movie.
The singer was seen walking with the aid of a cane. He was in black pants and a black t-shirt paired with a navy blue wool coat. Sharon looked gorgeous in a black shirt and black pants. She styled the look with an oversized white cardigan sweater.Jack, who was with his daughter Pearl, wore khaki pants, a blue t-shirt, and a black ball cap. Jack shares Pearl with his ex-wife Lisa Stelly. Kelly shone with her bright purple hair that was pulled in a ponytail.
She was in a gray hoodie with jeans and flip-flops. Kelly pushed her son Sidney in a stroller. She welcomed Sidney at the end of 2022 and shares him with her boyfriend, Slipknot drummer Sid Wilson.
Fans who saw Ozzy’s pictures on his latest outing said it was so sad to see him unwell but noted that it was great the family was giving the singer unconditional love even at his lowest. Fans asked God to bless and heal Ozzy.
