Kobe Bryant’s family was one of the most beloved in the NBA, with NBA fans looking up to Kobe for his incomparable sporting abilities and to his family in general for their love and happiness with one another.
However, in 2020, the lives of his wife, Vanessa Bryant, and daughters Natalia and Bianka were forever changed when they learned that Kobe and Gianna had lost their lives together in a terrible accident. They have since shared their life without their most beloved family members.
On January 26, 2020, Kobe and his daughter, Gianna, boarded a helicopter flight that would take them to Kobe’s Mamba Sports Academy where he would be coaching Gianna’s basketball team in a game. Sadly, the helicopter made a crash landing in Calabasas, claiming the lives of Kobe, Gianna, and seven others, including a couple of Gianna’s teammates, their parents, another coach, and the pilot.
After extensive investigations, the pilot was held responsible for what happened that fateful day. It has been three years since the tragedy, but Vanessa, Natalia, Bianka, and Capri still hold Kobe and Gianna dear in their hearts.
Not only are their family members still thinking of them, but many of Kobe’s fans too. The NBA star’s legend status became even more pronounced after his death, and his fans have since made many tributes to him.After his death, the Los Angeles Lakers Stadium, Kobe’s home ground, was surrounded by flowers, gifts, and letters from fans who traveled there to pay their respects to the NBA giant and his daughter.
