Kelsy is most commonly known for being the first wife of the house-flipping star, Jonathan Scott. People did not know who she was for a long time until her identity was revealed in documents obtained from court during her and Jonathan’s separation.

WHO IS KELSY ULLY?
Kelsy was born in Canada before moving to Las Vegas. According to her FaceBook page, she lives in Calgary, Alberta; in 2009, she graduated from her honors program at the University of Nevada Las Vegas, where she studied Business Administration and Management.
Before that, she studied at Mount Royal University for three years in the same field. Her impressive resume was topped off by her Applied Project Management Certificate from the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology in 2017.Kelsy had over fifteen years of work experience; she worked as a flight scheduler for an airline for three years before she spent four years as a Project Manager for Scott Real Estate.
She was a Business Development Representative for Cascade Process Control for two years before obtaining her current position as a Director of Business Operations at Impel Systems.In her well-decorated LinkedIn profile, she describes herself as approachable and professional, with an ability to build deep relationships with people.

Kelsy and Jonathan were in their early 20s when they met; Kelsy was living her flight scheduler days for a Canadian airline while Jonathan was learning the ropes in real estate with his twin brother, Drew.
In 2007, the couple fell in love, and Jonathan made the grand gesture of moving from Canada to Las Vegas to be with Kelsy. They got married the same year.
KELSY ULLY AND JONATHAN SCOTT SEPARATED AFTER TWO YEARS OF MARRIAGE
Young and in love, Jonathan and Kelsy were in a hurry to get hitched; the process did not happen. Naturally, he said, as she wanted to get married on the exact date 07/ 07/ 07. They were not ready to get married, and married life seemed to have challenges for the young couple.
To make ends meet, Kelsy took a job as a waitress at a pool club in Las Vegas, and her occupation had her working long hours and late nights. Jonathan rarely saw his wife, her job placing more and more distance between them.
In his 2017 memoir, “It Takes Two: Our Story,” co-written by his brother, Jonathan shared that Kelsy had a group of friends she spent much time with that he barely knew, often excluding Jonathan.
The couple tried to make things work by going to marriage counseling. But Jonathan knew their relationship had ended when he realized she had erased him from her Facebook profile one night, changing her relationship status from “married” to blank. That was the last straw for Jonathan, who later filed for divorce.
By 2009, Kelsy and Jonathan had separated; despite being a short romance, the split heavily impacted Jonathan. He said:”The split isn’t something I dwell on anymore, but for one too-long, too-dark period in my life, that’s practically all I did. It shook me right to my core.”
KELSY ULLY’S DIVORCE TOOK UNTIL 2013
Kelsy and Jonathan’s divorce was a long and grueling process, with the back-and-forth of he said, she said and accusations. Jonathan claimed that Kelsy had terrible spending habits and “selfish behavior.” He stated that she was the one who gave up on counseling and ultimately the marriage.
Kelsy’s accounts of events differ as she claimed he kicked her out of their Las Vegas home and harassed her into signing separation papers.
In legal contracts drafted by Jonathan’s mother, a legal assistant, Kelsy said that in November 2009, Jonathan told her she could no longer stay in their home and had to leave.
Jonathan would appear at her workplace, contact her family and friends, and relentlessly call, allegedly threatening that Kelsy would end up bankrupt after their divorce and hounding her to sign separation documents.
Kelsy supported Jonathan during the early stages of their relationship and felt she was owed more money than she received; the divorce dragged on until 2013.
JONATHAN SCOTT LEARNED A LESSON FROM HIS DIFFICULT DIVORCE
Almost ten years since his divorce was finalized, Jonathan learned a lot from his first marriage, the biggest life lesson being that two good people might not be suitable for each other.
Jonathan shared this advice with friends going through difficult situations, feeling relieved that he and his ex-wife discovered their marriage incompatibility before they had children. This advice seems to worked for Jonathan because his relationship with Zoey Deschanel seems better than ever.
