Keanu Reeves, now 58, made his feature film debut at 22 in the 1986’s Youngblood, a sports drama also starring Rob Lowe and the late Patrick Swayze.
His breakthrough role came in 1989 with Bill and Ted’s Excellent Adventure, a sci-fi comedy with outrageous catch phrases–like “righteous babe”–that still influence pop culture.
“I don’t want to be super famous, man,” Reeves told New York’s Newsday in 1991. “That would be awful.”
