Tim Curry Lives Far Away from Family after Stroke — His Friends Take Care of Him & Cooked for Him on Recent B-Day

Tim Curry has become one of the most recognizable faces in show business, having performed in iconic films such as “The Rocky Horror Picture Show.” As a child, Tim was often exposed to music, which is where his love of performance also originated. His entire family shared a love of music, and his sister was a talented pianist.

Tim’s father, James Curry, was a Royal Navy Methodist chaplain, while his mother, Patricia Curry, worked as a school secretary. His older sister, Judith Curry, was an aspiring concert pianist, while Tim was also drawn to performing from a young age. He sang soprano in his church’s choir at the tender age of six.

Tim had his first experiences as a Shakespearean actor around the age of ten when he starred in annual school plays. After the death of his father when the actor was only twelve, the family moved to London, although Tim was sent off to board at Kingswood School in the city of Bath. Later in life, Tim would move to Birmingham.

He also put many of his fans’ minds at ease by revealing that he has been doing well since 2012.
After pursuing acting as a calling, Tim found a breakout role in the 1973 stage production “The Rocky Horror Show.” A year later, he reprised his role as Dr. Frank-N-Furter in the film adaptation, “The Rocky Horror Picture Show.” He starred in numerous other stage productions, including “Hair” and “Amadeus.”

Tim branched out into film, starring in iconic films such as “Home Alone 2: Lost in New York” and “It.” Sadly, the actor’s mother, Patricia, passed away in 1999. Two years later, in 2001, he would also lose his beloved sister, Judith, who died of a brain tumor. Tim never married, and the actor has no children of his own...CONTINUE READING
