A woman who had been standing nearby saw all the excitement and zeroed in on the young man like a heat-seeking missile within a minute. Even with the disguise on, she could tell it was her son.
When she finally got to him, she attempted to rip off his mask. Then she began slapping his head and giving him a severe verbal thrashing. She felt ashamed by his behavior toward law enforcement since she knew he had been taught better.
“Baltimore doesn’t need the National Guard… they need more parents like this one!” exclaimed a bystander.
