Shemar Moore became a father to a daughter, Frankie Moore, at 52. The actor revealed on the 3rd anniversary of his mother’s death that he was about to make one of her dreams come true in real life. Shemar’s mother, Marilyn Joan Wilson-Moore, died on February 8, 2020.
Marilyn’s dream was that her son become a father, which Shemar was excited to accomplish when his girlfriend Jesiree Dizon got pregnant with their baby. Their baby’s due date, February 8, 2023, also marked the day Marilyn died.
Shemar said on the Jennifer Hudson Show that it would be exciting if his baby were born on the same day his mother died. However, the actor’s baby girl came early. He announced on Instagram that she was born on January 24, 2023, at 3:38 p.m. weighing 7.1 pounds.
The movie star was happy to be a father to a girl, which he termed as a “DREAMS COME TRUE!!” “Already THE LOVE OF MY LIFE!! “he added. Shemar said his mother was in heaven dancing and rejoicing at the birth of her granddaughter.
