Kate Middleton continues her recovery after undergoing abdominal surgery in January. Last week, a new update about how she is doing was released, but royal fans and experts have demanded to get even more detailed information. Because of her surgery and King Charles’ cancer diagnosis, the royal family has gone through a very challenging period. This is all while Prince Harry and Meghan Markle continue living their different lives in the US.
The Sussexes’ relationship with Kate Middleton and other royal family members has been shattered after the release of their many interviews, Netflix documentary, and Harry’s book, Spare. Meanwhile, the Princess of Wales and Meghan Markle were said to have been on bad terms before leaving the royal family.
Even though the feud has ended all contact between Harry, Meghan, and the royal family, they quickly reached out to Kate when they received news of her surgery. However, an expert has now issued a crucial warning to Harry and Meghan, which could have dire consequences if they do not choose to follow it.When Harry and Meghan tied the know, the next generation of royals appeared to be set. Kate and Meghan were seen as somewhat of a “power couple,” but things were very different behind the scenes.
“It was reported that they sent private messages, which would be the right thing to do,” she said.
Neither Prince Harry nor Meghan have spoken publicly about Kate Middleton and her surgery. As Marlene Koening said, that has been the right move for the couple. But even though Kate will hopefully return to royal duty soon, Harry and Meghan could make a massive mistake by beginning to speak about the princess publicly, according to PR expert Ryan McCormick.
In an interview with the Mirror, McCormick urges the Sussexes not to refrain from speaking about Kate Middleton, at least not before she has returned to royal duty. Lately, there have been many conspiracy theories about Kate’s absence. According to McCormick, if Harry and Meghan speak out before she returns to royal duty, it could lead to more speculations about how she is doing in her recovery.
“Harry and Meghan would be best suited to not make any public comments about Kate,” Ryan McCormick told the Mirror.
“Anything they said would be over analysed and if they were to wish Kate speedy recovery, speculation would run rampant about what is happening behind the scenes,”
The PR expert continued, “The Duchess & Duke can slowly begin to possibly regain trust from the royal family by doing exactly as they are instructed to do.”
The few official updates on Kate Middleton have worried many royal fans who want to know more about how she is doing. Prince William has given some updates about his wife when out on royal duty, and last week, a Kensington Palace spokesperson said that the Princess of Wales is “doing well” as she continues to recover from abdominal surgery.
Meanwhile, many have questioned whether it’s the right call not to give more updates on Kate. Some experts have demanded that they should at least release a new picture of the princess, while royal fans, at the same time, have wanted her to release all details on what the “planned” abdominal surgery was about.
While speculations about Kate’s health continue, a royal spokesperson said the palace “made it clear in January” that they would provide significant updates” only when necessary. The initial statement, released on January 17, read, “The Princess of Wales appreciates the interest this statement will generate. She hopes that the public will understand her desire to maintain as much normality for her children as possible; and her wish that her personal medical information remains private.
“Kensington Palace will, therefore, only provide updates on Her Royal Highness’ progress when there is significant new information to share. The Princess of Wales wishes to apologise to all those concerned for the fact that she has to postpone her upcoming engagements. She looks forward to reinstating as many as possible, as soon as possible.”
