The couple had a young daughter and had no plans to expand their family when they received unexpected news – the wife was pregnant, and her husband was unhappy with the development of the situation. The mother accepted the next step in the family journey, but her husband had a different and distressing reaction. When she told her husband she was pregnant; he didn’t answer as she expected. The baby’s mother said she was stunned when specialists announced she was expecting more than one baby. She expressed: “Nobody in our family has ever had this. There has not been a single case like this. In general, I did not expect it and never expected it.”

Her husband obviously couldn’t imagine raising multiple cubs, so he did the unthinkable: he left his wife and left her to fend for herself with her kids.
“Maybe he realized he couldn’t take it. He got scared and said I was the smartest one and had to answer.”
The mother could not explain how she stayed sane during the pregnancy, but decided to accept her miracle.
She carried five babies for seven months and was thrilled to meet her quintuplets in 2016. During their first year on earth, they were mostly sick and in need of intensive care.
After a long stay in hospital, Denis, Daria, Vlad, Alex and David were finally sent home. Mom was grateful for the support she received from family, friends and kind strangers. The president also gave him a car, and the mayor of the city offered him a large apartment that could accommodate his entire family.
The husband reappeared after his wife received various generous donations. She was happy to find him again for the sake of the children.
