Much to her mother’s horror, a 4-year-old girl raced out of a McDonald’s restroom with tears streaming down her cheeks. The situation was made worse when her mother noticed something on her little daughter’s leg.
On a Thursday afternoon at lunchtime, Kaya Langmead and her mother Nicole visited a McDonald’s. Nicole made the decision to allow the 4-year-old child to use the restroom by herself. Mom let me use the restroom like a big girl while we were at McDonald’s, Kaya recounted. It would, regrettably, not be a positive experience for the developing girl.
Nicole chose to wait patiently outside the toilet since she thought Kaya was old enough to use the restroom without her. Nicole, though, caught two teen females giggling as they left the facilities right before Kaya arrived. When her daughter returned from the bathroom in excruciating pain, she was the first to recognize that their laughter was a warning of things to come.
Nicole recalls, «These two girls came out of the bathroom laughing.» They were probably only entering their teens. I didn’t give it much thought, and Kaya went to the bathroom,» she said. However, it was clear that something went wrong while Kaya was inside the bathroom when she came out. Nicole said that she subsequently broke down in tears.
The 4-year-old was sobbing as she ran out of the restroom and into her mother’s arms. Kaya informed her mother that something had hurt her badly as tears streamed down her young cheeks. Nicole noticed her daughter’s behind was red and sore after the skin on her legs had been removed. Kaya then told her mother that she had to tear herself free of the seat after being «stuck» to it.
I examined Kaya over to see how badly she had been marked after being utterly surprised, Nicole stated. She said, «The skin was ripped off the back of my daughter’s legs, and she was left in tears.» Nicole said, «She came out in tears and informed me that she had been glued to the seat. Kaya said that something had damaged her buttocks, but I had no idea that it might be glue. But when the mother went to the bathroom to look into it, she discovered just that.
When we checked it over, Nicole remarked, «I thought maybe the seat had moved or something,» but there was glue everywhere. Superglue had been applied to the McDonald’s toilet seat as a cruel joke by the two giggly teenagers who had just come out of the restroom. Of course, no one else laughed, certainly not Nicole or Kaya, who was still suffering from the trauma of having her skin ripped off of her little body. The adhesive that had been put on Kaya’s flesh took five days to remove, but she was still emotionally traumatized, and her skin remained red and sore.
