Man Calls Terminally Ill Wife ‘a Fat Old Loser Who I Hate’ — She Films It to ‘Protect’ Her Children From Him

Catherine Kassenoff was a brave woman and a mother of two who fought a long custody battle for over four years with her husband, Allan Kassenoff.

Disappointed with the humiliating treatment she received from the court of New York, Catherine started sharing her heartbreaking story on Facebook.Her posts ended up becoming famous, with several people following her story. Catherine was a woman willing to fight until her last breath to save herself and her children from her husband’s abuse.

In the midst of her years-long custody battle, Catherine had already survived breast cancer twice. She was a former assistant U.S. attorney who was then-special counsel to New York Governor Kathy Hochul.

Her legal background and her tenacity were what kept her going; in fact, Catherine said, “I do believe the only way out is to fight it.”

Despite reporting the abuse she and her children endured, Catherine wrote that her case had over 3000 court filings, 80 motions, three child attoneys, and therapists.

The mother of two said the state was making money at the expense of her family and that her children had been diagnosed with multiple mental illnesses and trauma while being turned against her and told to call her Catherine instead of Mom.

Along the way, things were looking better for Catherine. She announced that she went from limited visitations to unsupervised, a significant milestone.

Another report noting #CatherineYoussefKassenoff was reported as dead.

However, in January 2022, Catherine was arrested for violating a protective order and visiting her child at school. She said she was handcuffed and escorted out of her child’s school by four police officers.

The arrest did not only cost her her visitation rights but her job. Soon after, another report was filed stating that Catherine was manipulative toward her children, so in May 2023, her vitiation rights were suspended.

Her husband worked as a litigator, and according to Catherine, he was able to manipulate the system, despite her daughters reporting his abuse towards them..CONTINUE READING
