James Brolin, 82, Adores Being Grandpa of 4 & Enjoys Secluded Family Life in Flowery Home with Wife of 24 Years

Born Craig Kenneth Bruderlin on July 18, 1940, in Los Angeles, California, James Brolin is an American actor who has won an Emmy and two Golden Globe awards. He was honored with his very own star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame on August 27, 1998.

He’s starred in television shows and movies, beginning his acting career in the 60s and appearing in notable titles throughout the 70s, 80s, 90s, and 2000s.

Brolin is famously known for playing Stephen Kiley in “Marcus Welby, M.D.” from 1969 to 1976, Peter McDermott in “Hotel” from 1983 to 1988, and John Short in “Life in Pieces” from 2015 until 2019. He has also starred in the movies “Skyjacked,” “Westworld,” “Traffic,” and “Catch Me If You Can.”

The pair tied the knot after being set up on a blind date by a friend—an encounter that proved special and laid the foundation for their love and romance.
