On October 25, Simran Jeet Singh posted a video to Twitter of two brothers giving a woman cash from their pockets after they saw her paying for gas with pennies. While giving her the money, the woman cried and told them she had just lost her husband.
“These black brothers saw a woman paying for gas with pennies and gave her money from their pockets. They had no idea that her husband had just died and she was struggling,” Singh wrote on Twitter. “This is what loving your neighbor looks like. More of this please!”
He added: “There’s so much negativity in the news these days.
Here’s a much needed reminder that people are good and that we can all live together with love and respect.”
