The Public Library of Science One reports that twin fetuses learn their social skills when they are in the womb, and they learn to interact with others shortly after birth.
The video below documents twins playing in the womb, struggling, and even apologizing to each other, and several hours after they are born, they mimic the gestures of people around them and create a social interaction.
The conclusion of the study is that it is deeply ingrained in human nature to interact with other people, and that socialization already exists within the womb.
They also found that the behavior of twins can be observed while they are still in the womb.
