The Carol Burnett Show is one of the greatest comedy/variety shows of all time. The show aired on CBS from the late 1960s to the 1970s and delighted audiences with its charming sketch humor. Every scene in the episodes was performed by the most brilliant actors.

Every Saturday night, families gathered in front of their televisions to see Carol Burnett and her cast of performers perform spontaneous comedy in front of a live audience. A video clip from The Carol Burnett Show episode “Mr. FIXIT,” which was recently posted, has gone viral.

Carol’s main cast included Harvey Korman, Tim Conway, Lyle Waggoner, Vicki Lawrence, and various guest appearances. Korman and Conway, the two stars, amuse the audience with spontaneous sketch comedy as they perform the skit “Mr. FIXIT.”

Both actors are well-known for their connection onstage. Their act is authentic, and their comic timing is superb. The sketch starts with the camera panning out to a wall with a sign that reads, “Mr. FIXIT – IF IT CAN BE BROKEN, IT CAN BE FIXED.”

Korman enters the stage (an instrument repair shop) at this point. He arrives dressed in a concert tuxedo (as a violinist) to have his violin repaired. He requests that Tim Conway, the repairman, improve his 100-year-old violin. This is when the fun begins. Conway’s negligence with the violin enrages Korman.

Finally, the violin repairman restores the musical instrument. However, as the violinist pays him for the job, he stamps and breaks the bill that was retained on the instrument. The musician goes insane and decides to settle things with the repairman.

Several internet fans have offered heartfelt comments on the post. “Loved these two together!” commented one. So many hours of sheer entertainment and laughing!” Another individual said, “Comedians like no other.” “Awesome duo.”
