Mama June has revealed the terrible news that her 28-year-old daughter Anna ‘Chickadee’ Cardwell has stage four adrenal carcinoma, a tumor of any size that has migrated to other parts of the body.
TLC’s Here Comes Honey Boo Boo star took Instagram to link to the TMZ story that broke the news. Anna, Mama June’s eldest daughter, was diagnosed with cancer in January, spreading to her liver, kidney, and lung.
Honey Boo Boo, Alana Thompson also announced the news on Twitter “This is what I mean when I say that you never really know what someone is going through at home. Regardless of how well-known they are. Sure, I am famous, but normal [expletive] happens to my family and me, and you must recognize this as soon as possible.”
Anna is said to have had her first round of chemotherapy last month.
The 28-year-old was the mother of two children, Kaitlyn Elizabeth in 2012 and Kylee Madison in 2015. Eldridge Toney has been her boyfriend since 2019.
“These crazy kids of mine decided that before they went to their dad’s place, they want to give me a heart attack and catch a chipmunk and bring it in the house, and [they] wanted it as a pet,” Anna told fans just two days ago on Instagram.
That was her second of two posts on that day and her first since July 2022.”
“I haven’t posted in a long time. Your girl is back; sorry for the photo dump that’s about to come, haha I love you all, and I hope you’re having a good week, “She captioned a selfie.
“Prayers, love, and hugs are being sent your way. I’m sorry you have to go through this. You’re far too young,” one fan said after hearing the news, while another said, “I was heartbroken when I got the news. Nobody should have to go through something like that, especially not someone your age.”
