American singer-songwriter Donnie Wahlberg recently celebrated his birthday, and his beloved wife of nearly a decade commemorated his special day on social media.
The Hollywood star was born Donald Edmond “Donnie” Wahlberg Jr. in Boston, Massachusetts, on August 17, 1969. He was born into a Swedish family on his paternal grandfather’s side.
Donnie is the eighth of nine children of Donald Wahlberg, a delivery driver, and Alma Conroy (née Donnelly), a nurse’s aide. The pair, who were divorced, both passed away.
