With eight children of his own, the “Maggie May” singer is quite at ease around children. In recent years, the artist has also gained the title of grandfather.
Ruby, his fourth child, announced the birth of her baby son, whom she shares with fiancé Jake Kalic, on May 9, this year.
And, only days after becoming a grandfather for the first time, he became a grandfather again when his son Liam announced the birth of his son Louie on May 12, to Liam Stewart, 28, and his partner Nicole Ann.
The new father captioned a photo album on Instagram, “Welcome lad, you American, British, Croatian, Kiwi.”
Rod’s son from his marriage to Rachel Hunter between 1990 and 2006. Hunter’s grandmother said, “Welcome, you beautiful angel.” Penny Lancaster, Rod’s present wife, also commented, writing, “Congratulations, that’s the look of love.” I can’t wait to have a hug.”
Now it appears that the Rod Stewart family is growing by one. Rod’s son Liam and his girlfriend, Nicole Artukovich, who are the parents of little Louie, have announced their engagement!
The pair revealed the news by posting the same photo to their individual Instagram profiles with the identical phrase, “Forever,” accompanied by the diamond ring emoji.
In the photo, the couple looks at one other tenderly as Nicole flashes her ring, resting it on her fiance’s chest.
Of course, the entire family joyfully received and enjoyed the news. Penny Lancaster said, “So magical, congratulations,” with a heart emoji.
“It’s past time!” I love you two! “Congratulations!” joked Liam’s sister, Rudy.
