American actor Treat Williams, best known for his roles in “Hair” and “Everwood,” began making a name for himself in Hollywood in the late 1970s and early 1980s, quickly becoming a heartthrob of many.
He had a wildly successful career, with his last role being “Chesapeake Shores,” which ran from 2016-2022. He tragically passed away at 71 recently, and his wife and children shared the statement with Williams’ agent.Barry McPherson, Williams’ agent of fifteen years, was the first to share the news that Williams had passed away in a road accident. He shared:
“He was killed this afternoon. He was making a left or a right [and] a car cut him off. I’m just devastated. He was the nicest guy. He was so talented.”
McPherson shared that he was an excellent actor, and everyone who worked with him loved him. The fire chief for Dorset, Vermont, where Williams had his accident, confirmed that Williams was involved at 5 p.m. on June 12, 2023.

Van Sant and Williams also shared two children, and despite Williams being famous, they lived a relatively private life. Yet Williams would often show his wife and children off on social media.
On Mother’s Day this year, Williams posted a photo of himself and Van Sant holding a dog. In the caption, he wished all mothers a Happy Mother’s Day. Fans took to the comments section to wish Van Sant a Happy Mother’s Day, too.
Williams also posted an ambient photo on May 23 this year, showing his family gathering food, wine, and other small trinkets around an outdoor table. It was dusk, and the outdoor lights were on. Williams captioned the photo: “Home.”…CONTINUE READING
