Treat Williams Met His Wife When She Was a Waitress
Before Treat met and married his wife, Pam, he was linked to actress Laura Dern. Treat also dated Dana Delany for four years.
The actor admitted that he, Dana, and other group of actors were mostly out late and enjoyed a party scene. The group of actors’ social life revolved around Café Central, an early 1980s New York hot spot.
Some of these other actors included Bruce Willis, who was sometimes a bartender, and Al Pacino and Peter Weller, who were regulars at the hot spot. Peter and Treat later opened a spinoff restaurant.
Treat revealed that among everyone in the group, he was the party animal, “I was the guy who locked the door at night.”
The actor had a time when he was actively engaged in productions, but at one point, he was inactive. It is during this time, when he was largely absent from movie screens, that he met Pam, who he had been married to since 1988.
When Treat met Pam, she was waitressing in a New York restaurant. She later became an actress, and in 1995 she featured in the television series called “American Masters.”
After getting married, they welcomed their first child, a son, Gill, in 1992 and their second child, a daughter, Elinor, in 1998.
Pam, Treat, and their two kids lived a private life in Manchester Centre, Vermont, and Park City, Utah.
Treat’s acting career prospered compared to Pam’s. However, the actor’s wife supported him by accompanying him to many public events that promoted his projects.
Pam attended premieres for television series and shows and would, on some occasions, bring their kids along.
Treat, who loved his wife, was never shy of displaying this affection for the public to see. One of the actor’s last posts on Twitter celebrated Pam on Mother’s Day:
“Happy Mother’s Day Pam. You raised two extraordinary people. What a great mom you are. I am grateful.”
In February 2023, Treat shared a throwback picture of him, Pam, and their two kids. He shared the picture as a tribute to his wife on her birthday. Treat wrote, “You are the love of my life. What joy you have given us. More adventures to come!”
On June 1, 2023, he shared another picture of Pam chilling in their living room and revealed that his wife redid the living room. “I love what she did. Actually I love her. Lucky me,” he captioned.
On 2023 Mother’s Day, Treat shared a photo of him and his wife where the two were all smiles and looked gray-haired. Pam was carrying their dog in the photo.
