This afternoon, I saw a USPS truck stopped across from my house. To my surprise, the driver was standing at attention, saluting the flag my neighbor was raising.
I quickly grabbed my camera, took off my hat, and captured the moment. Once the flag was fully raised, I introduced myself and thanked him for his service. Retired U.S. Army sergeant Robert Franklin exemplifies true patriotism, still serving his country in all weather. I am proud to have met him.
