Singer Donny Osmond recently flew to Las Vegas to witness his older brother Merrill Osmond’s final performance.
Donny shared an emotional photo of him supporting Merrill while the latter performed his final song of the night.
Along with the image, Donny stated that without his older brother, The Osmonds would not have been able to develop their own unique sound.
Donny commented, ‘That was a night that I will never, ever forget. ’I was able to attend my brother Merrill’s final performance in the country.
The more I watched him, the more I grew to love him, and soon I was singing along with all the other fans in the Westgate theater, where we shared the stage in the 1970s, together with them all.
At the end of the concert, when he invited me to join him, I couldn’t help but give my brother a big hug as we said our goodbyes. He was performing the song that marked the event’s conclusion.The Osmonds were developed by all of us working together, but Merrill’s voice was the inspiration behind the band’s distinctive sound.
It was an experience of a lifetime. You have my sincere gratitude, my brother.What a lovely and heartfelt conversation these two onstage performing brothers had.
Donny and Merrill Osmond will undoubtedly want to cherish this touching moment for the rest of their life.
