Actress Jaclyn Smith always tried to treat her two children, Spencer-Margaret and Gaston, well. Despite her stardom, Jaclyn attempted to make her children feel as special as her mother made her feel. She constantly tried to keep her children out of the public eye as much as possible.But despite her best efforts, her children caught the attention of the media, which often left her feeling that she betrayed them. Nonetheless, she kept a strong bond with her mother through daily phone calls.
A Dream Home Bought in 1991
In 1991, Jaclyn bought a six-bedroom, six-bath Georgian colonial mansion in the Holmby Hills of Los Angeles. She immediately dedicated her love for older houses to every room in her mansion. She said:
“It’s a great family home with a lot of sunlight coming through the windows, and it’s surrounded by a lot of land.”Inside the house, her nostalgic preferences are depicted in images of her family. The home also has a lot of comfortable-looking furniture. The actress loves the 18th Century and comfort, so she chose modern covers for her furniture that she can easily sink into.
Jaclyn redid every room in the house, even though the kitchen was the only room that needed renovation. She also loved the amenities offered by the property, including a tennis court for Gatson, a pool for Spencer-Margaret, and office space for both her and heart surgeon Dr. Brad Allen.
Jaclyn credits her mom for her meet-up with Brad.
