Steve Harvey, 66, is well-known for being one of Hollywood’s beloved TV hosts, comedians, and actors. Perhaps one of his most iconic entertainment industry credits sees him appear as the charismatic, witty, and hilarious host of “Family Feud.”
Aside from his abundant career accolades, Steve is also a big family man. He has been a devoted husband to his loving wife, Marjorie Harvey, for over a decade. The couple wed in 2007 and have created a huge blended family with their children from their previous relationships.
Steve and Marjorie are parents to seven children: Morgan, Jason, Brandi, Karli, Broderick, Lori, and Wynton Harvey. As the matriarch and patriarch of such an extended family, the couple are incredibly devoted to their loved ones.
The lovebirds are also doting grandparents to their many grandchildren, whom they love dearly. So dearly that a couple of years ago, the “Love Don’t Cost a Thing” star posted the following about his grandkids:
“All of my grandchildren are the reason why I wake up every morning and do what I do.”
While previously sitting down for a virtual interview, the discussion veered toward Steve’s family, particularly his numerous grandchildren. When asked about their relationships, the bonds they share, and how he may be different as a dad vs a grandfather, the comedian quipped:
“…it’s really absolutely wonderful. You know, I hug ’em, and then I walk off, that’s it. ‘You hungry? Go get your mama. You wanna go in the swimming pool? Go get your daddy. You want to talk to Pop Pop, go talk to Nana.’… it’s absolutely fabulous, they don’t belong to me, they love me…because I give them everything…”
Steve Harvey Became a Grandfather for the Eighth Time, and Fans Are Swooning over the New Bundle of Joy
Until recently, the family man who adores his grandchildren had seven. Earlier this year, his and Marjorie’s daughter-in-law announced that she and their son, Jason, would be expecting a new baby later this year.
The baby has now arrived and marks the fifth kid for Jason and his wife, Amanda Harvey. The couple named their precious baby, whom they welcomed on October 10, Luz Aya.Adorable family photos posted to Amanda’s social media account show the beautiful baby girl with pretty eyes and a full head of hair already. Upon seeing the baby, fans could not stop swooning over how cute she is:
“PURE PERFECTION!!!!!!!!!!!😆…”
Others agreed that she was perfect, while others called the baby girl, who marks Steve’s eighth grandchild, a flawless angel and extended heartfelt congratulations to the excited couple, with one of them sending the couple love and hugs.
