The man has been involved in adoption for 19 years and has successfully raised 30 children throughout that period. Thomas Lamont is a resident of Buffalo. His family just expanded with the adoption of 5 little children under the age of 5. They are all one another’s brothers and sisters. Lamont Thomas is now raising 12 kids. GMA published the account of a single father.
Thomas struggled to control his tears as soon as the father was allowed to bring five children inside the house in front of the judge. He claims that much effort was put into bringing his five brothers and sisters into the household. Currently, the home is home to two biological children, Lamonica and Anthony, as well as ten foster children. A single father’s story started in 2000.
I initially assisted one of my friends. Then I took things a step further and obtained a credential that allowed me to become a foster parent. I have not stopped since then.
Michael, one of the oldest adoptees, is already 27 years old. The man claims that Thomas’s home became his third in succession before becoming his own in the end. The boy’s biological parents were known to the single father.
Michael remembers that Thomas never abandoned his kids. They only split up because they matured and began their own families. Everyone was on an equal footing and loved equally in a single father’s home. A father’s calling from God is to raise his children, claims Michael.
Now that we are all adults. Michael chuckles, «I can’t believe he started all over again. He ended up saving my life. Without him, I wouldn’t be where I am now.
Thomas decided it was time to halt at one point. One of the elder kids moved out and married. Despite the fact that there were 7 additional children living in the family, it seemed that the lone father felt homesick. He made the decision to «come out of retirement» after learning that five siblings were looking for a family.
And Thomas knows about them since he once reared the father of these kids. The father did not want the children to live in separate homes. It turned out that the four children ended up in separate cities and were separated for a period of more than 1.5 years.
