Niki had a large family, including a loving husband and a lovely daughter from her first marriage. However, she had a lingering idea from her upbringing. Niki hoped to adopt a child and provide them with a true home, love, and care. Her husband encouraged her, and the two of them decided to adopt a child from an orphanage.
They looked through numerous profiles before deciding on a little boy with very minimal odds of getting adopted. Rustam was born with a number of developmental flaws. When his mother saw his state, she abandoned him.
She was criticized for living an unhealthy lifestyle during her pregnancy. The kid was born with congenital facial traits and was unable to feed himself; therefore, he was fed through a tube. Rustam, too, did not talk and was developmentally delayed. He was born without a leg. The doctors tried everything to repair his face.
Niki confessed that she wasn’t scared when she first met the youngster. She instantly began to consider how she and her spouse might assist him. Rustam began walking with crutches a year after his adoption, and eventually with a prosthetic. He worked closely with a speech therapist and is now able to communicate effectively with others.
People, especially youngsters, did not trust Rustam at first and mocked him. On the playground, they avoided playing with him. Niki eventually decided to open an Instagram account and share her son’s tale with the rest of the world. She began posting images and discussing memorable events from their lives. Rustam’s page immediately gained popularity.
The story of the youngster piqued the curiosity of the media, and Niki and her son were invited to numerous television programs. Niki tells her kid not to be ashamed of his appearance and attempts to convince him that what counts most is a person’s soul. Rustam has a long road ahead of him, but his loving family will always be there to support him.
