
Simone Biles was born on March 14, 1997, and grew up in Spring, Texas. She is an American gymnast and a great athlete who was captivated by gymnastics at the age of six after a daycare field trip to Bannon’s Gymnastix.
She has since grown to become one of the sport’s greatest athletes. In the 2016 Olympics held in Rio de Janeiro, Biles was the first female U.S. gymnast to win four gold medals at a single Games. She also became the first gymnast to win three consecutive world all-around titles from 2013 to 2015.
Biles has managed to dominate gymnastics due to her consistency, energetic personality, and the intense difficulty she included in her routines. These qualities have enabled her to be a first in many aspects of gymnastics.In her first year in senior competition in 2013, Biles won the all-around title at her first world gymnastics champions and became the first African American woman to hold the title. She has since been bagging medals in all four events, including vault, uneven bars, balance beam, and floor exercise.
