Johnny Depp, one of Hollywood’s best and most famous actors, was born in a lower-middle-class family on June 9, 1963. His father was a civil engineer, while his mother worked as a waitress.
While growing up, Depp did not have the luxuries he enjoys now. He remembers moving from one house to another with his family and how they were mostly struggling with their finances. Depp also opened up about his parents’ tough method of parenting.

While accepting that he experienced a “relatively violent upbringing,” Depp doesn’t blame his parents for raising him in a harsh environment. He believes they lived in a different time, and the things that are considered bad now were normal back then.
Depp’s mother grew up in a shack without a toilet before she married Depp’s father. According to the “Pirates of the Caribbean” actor, his family’s financial situation wasn’t good. He recalled his mom “counting nickels and pennies and dimes” at the end of each day….CONTINUE READING
