Big bellbottoms, big music, big hair and the Summer of Love—it truly was an amazing time. Artists like Janis Joplin, Jimi Hendrix, The Ronnettes all ruled big in the charts. But another thing that defined the era were all the crazy dance trends!

Ever era has its special dance, and the 60s was no exception. It was bumping with new moves. There was the Twist, the Mashed Potato, the Watusi, and what not! If you’re a big fan of the 60s era, there is one more trend that you can’t miss. Yet, there’s one dance craze I can’t forget, and that was the Nitty Gritty. Robert Banas rose to fame after performing this dance. He has also worked in this like West Side Story. It’s such a lively routine, and you can’t help but get swept along with that enthusiasm.
